Establishing a nonprofit organization to help battered women and their children is fulfilling a vision and desire Debra Nixon-Bowles has had for many years. Her passion for this cause is driven by her own personal experiences with domestic abuse in her childhood and as an adult. Debra is committed to helping others achieve their “Goals of Excellence” and has devoted countless hours to educate and empower individuals that are affected by domestic violence. Debra Nixon-Bowles is committed to helping others overcome obstacles, break down barriers, and ACHIEVE! She has a knack for opening the right doors for great business opportunities and simply will NOT take no for an answer. Debra knows “HOW TO WORK IT“ and effectively “WORKS” every strategic angle when securing a deal for her clients. Marketing & Branding
After 13 years of working in the music industry with two of the largest recognized music distributors in the world – Universal Music Group and BMG now known as Sony – is the platform that developed Velisa’s love for events and marketing; as a result, the creation of VVS Events & Marketing was established. Velisa’s expertise and passion for WCM allows her to support WCW interactive media into WCM branding strategy, search engine optimization and marketing (SEO/SEM) integration, monitoring and analysis of all social media trends and their impact on the WCM brand.
Director of Business Operations
Robyn implements the daily operations for Women Called Moses, supporting the mission by focusing on the goals, strategies, and organizational outcomes aligned within the nonprofit. Effective and actionable performances are exercised throughout clients, staff, and volunteers building trusted relationships. Alumni of Jarvis Christian College, Robyn earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems, and presently concentrating on her MFA, at Full Sail University. From Atlanta, Georgia to Dallas, Texas, her extensive background in various areas through trainings and professional experiences, including the nonprofit industry, has now connected her to Women Called Moses. The great cause of helping women and children, and leadership of the CEO, has influenced her commitment to the organization and operations.
